Rice Paddies

Seen on Thursday in Kokdala, northwest China's #Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, these vibrant rice paddies have entered their most spectacular viewing season. Created at a rice farming demonstration base in Changfeng Town, the giant field artwork was designed using the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System for precision mapping and planted with seven varieties of colorful rice. Together, they form striking images celebrating rice-fish farming, agricultural prosperity and rural development. By combining creative agriculture with tourism, Kokdala is turning ordinary rice fields into living canvases – bringing visitors to the countryside while creating new opportunities for rural revitalization. #ChinaSeen
